Natina Reactive Color Treatment for steel was applied to blend in the guardrails and light poles in March 2015. Together we worked with the City of San Diego and Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) on the Florida Drive Median Barrier Project. Natina was specified because of its low-maintenance finish and beautiful, rustic brown hues. In fact, Caltrans included Natina in their original specification as part of their visual impact assessment needs.
Natina creates a mottled and distinguished finish that looks similar to weathered steel.
