Our Latest Project: Sunrise Powerlink Project, SDG&E Lattice Tower
For a section of the Cleveland National Forest, it was requested that the lattice towers be colored or stained to better blend with the surrounding landscape. SDG&E looked into a variety of options to achieve the desired results. Out of the options Natina was specified. Natina was chosen because it is non-toxic and environmentally safe, includes natural micronutrients and oxidizers and has a unique mottled finish for a camouflage-like effect Natina was applied to the lattice towers via helicopter and the color development occurred over the next weeks.
