Project Location: Southern California

Along the scenic coastline near Malibu, a series of galvanized steel utility poles were treated with Natina to achieve a natural, weathered finish that blends beautifully with the surrounding environment.

Utility Permitting Requirements and Standards

Coastal permitting requirements often focus on both visual impact and material performance, which ensures structures can endure salt spray, humidity, and other harsh environmental conditions. Natina’s rustic finish helped the project meet those aesthetic standards while maintaining the durability and corrosion protection of galvanized steel. The result is a line of poles that complements the landscape, minimizes visual distraction, and aligns with local permitting expectations.

Project Support

Natina was proud to support this project and continue a strong working relationship with the California team. Together, we’ve shown that essential infrastructure can meet performance goals while satisfying strict visual requirements in sensitive areas.
